Trump Delivers Sharp Criticism of Biden and Left-Wing Figures in Easter Address

On Easter Sunday, former President Donald Trump shared two very different messages on his Truth Social account. The first was a traditional greeting, where he and his wife Melania wished all Americans a happy Easter. He expressed hope that those celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ would have a day filled with peace and joy, whether attending church or watching services from home.

Just six minutes later, Trump followed with a second message that took a sharply critical tone. He directed this post at what he called “Radical Left Lunatics,” accusing them of working to bring violent criminals, drug traffickers, gang members, and other dangerous individuals into the country.

He extended his criticism to what he described as “weak and ineffective” judges and law enforcement officials, blaming them for allowing these threats to continue unchecked.

Trump then turned his attention to President Joe Biden, whom he referred to as “Sleepy Joe,” accusing him of intentionally letting criminals into the United States through an open borders policy. He called Biden the “worst and most incompetent president” in the country’s history and included claims about the 2020 presidential election being rigged.

He also mocked the use of an autopen to sign documents, suggesting someone else might be making key decisions in the administration. Despite the strong accusations, Trump ended the message with a sarcastic wish for a happy Easter to those he blamed.

These posts came as Trump’s administration faced legal challenges over its immigration policies. In particular, Trump’s effort to deport violent undocumented immigrants using the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 has received significant pushback.

On Saturday, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a temporary ruling blocking the deportation of Venezuelan migrants held in northern Texas. The court stated that while deportations under the act may proceed, individuals must first be given due process to contest their removal.
