The war in Ukraine directly affected the development of the world of individual anti-tank weapons, both in the missile and rocket segments. Anti-tank weapons seem to have found their stage, for example when a hip gun with a weight of less than 10 kg is able to make a Main Battle Tank (MBT) weighing tens of tons without moving.
With the principle of superior mobility and user-friendliness, especially anti-tank (rocket) weapons with single throw launchers are now the prima donna, especially for infantry.
The debut of anti-tank weapons with disposable launchers cannot be separated from the name Instalaza SA, the article is that this Spanish weapons manufacturer is one of the most aggressive and persistent in developing and marketing disposable anti-tank rocket products, namely the successful C90 series in the market. including in Indonesia it is used in the scope of the Indonesian Army Infantry and the Air Force Special Forces Command.
For the needs of the Spanish special forces, Instalaza has introduced the latest generation of anti-tank rockets which are derivatives of the C90, namely the CS70 rocket launcher. Introduced at Eurosatory 2022, the CS70 was presented at the request of the Spanish special forces who wanted a lighter anti-tank rocket system compared to the C90, the CS70 weighs only 5.5 kg compared to the 6.5 kg of the larger system.
The number 70 is misleading, because the actual caliber of this disposable weapon is 72 mm. The CS70 is equipped with a single shaped-charge warhead that ensures penetration of more than 270 mm in rolled homogeneous armor.
According to Instalaza, the warheads designed and manufactured by Instalaza have been optimized to ensure maximum penetration, just as the propulsion system ensures the same range of the C90, which is 350 meters to the target point.

Installza claims that the confined space technology ensures a very quiet firing process, and allows the operator to fire multiple rockets in a day without experiencing ear problems.
The CS70 is equipped with the same folding x2 day sight used on the C90, which ensures that no retraining is required to use the CS70. The interface for installing night vision devices is also exactly the same as that of the C90.
As an additional option, Installaza proposes a thermal imaging version of the night vision system, VN-IR, which adds 900 grams of weight to the weapon providing an 11.7º x 8.8º field of view. Especially the night vision system is the only device that is not thrown away after the shooting, because it can be reused. In its release, Installaza said the CS70 would be available on the market starting in 2023.
