German Economy Minister Robert Habeck on Friday called for Russian President Vladimir Putin's powers to be reduced and eventually destroyed.
"We must do everything we can to reduce Putin's power and, ultimately, destroy him," Habeck, who is also Germany's vice chancellor, told ARD television.
Habeck rejected calls for an immediate halt to energy imports from Russia. He added: "When we can say with oil and gas ... we have secured the supply chain, then we can take the next step."
As is well known, all this time, the West has continued to pressure Putin, who is considered guilty of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
