A new video circulating online on Sunday (7/2/2022) shows a United States
F-35C stealth fighter jet skidding violently on the deck of the aircraft
carrier USS Carl Vinson.
Moments later, the sophisticated aircraft crashed in the waters of the South
China Sea. It was the latest publicly leaked video of the January 24, 2022
incident.
In the crash a US Navy F-35C crashed into a hard landing on the deck of the
aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson at an undisclosed location in the South
China Sea.
The pilot of the plane managed to eject safely, although six American
sailors were injured when the plane was thrown into the sea.
This new video, possibly shot by a member of the carrier's crew, shows
surveillance footage of the crash playing on a monitor. One of the Twitter
accounts that spread the video was @Fighterman_FFRC.

Fighterman_FFRC (@Fighterman_FFRC) February 6, 2022 Footage shows the F-35C
fighter jet approaching aircraft carrier to land when flight control shouted
a warning to "release" the landing.
The plane hit the flight deck hard and then hit the ramp with its tail and
engine.
The impact, which sent the tail of the plane flying, caused the plane to
roll across the deck.
The video footage also shows the rear of the F-35 in flames soon after the
impact.
The pilot exits the wrecked plane in the middle of the deck. Fortunately,
the plane was heavily tilted to the left side at the time, and the catapult
system sent the pilot directly out to sea rather than into the aircraft
carrier superstructure to the starboard side of the plane.
The plane then slid across the deck, fell off the carrier and into the sea.
Fire crews were seen running with hoses to flush the deck seconds after the
plane crashed from the ship.
Footage of the incident from a different angle has surfaced previously,
showing the aircraft humming at the carrier moments before the ill-fated
landing attempt.
Another photo that was leaked to the public shows the sophisticated plane
floating in the sea shortly after the incident.
The US Navy has yet to comment on the latest leaked video of the F-35C
stealth fighter jet crash.
