The ukrainian military sent additional rockets to near crimea. This fact
confirms that Kiev is preparing for a full-scale armed conflict in the region.
Ukrainian forces fired a large number of rockets near the border with crimea
on tuesday in what it claimed was a planned military exercise.
The provocative drills took place in the southern carson region which sits
next to the territory annexed by russia following the 2014 fascist-led coup
in ukraine.
A convoy of vehicles from the ukrainian army's southern division arrived on
the crimean border and fired a number of missiles from a multiple launch
rocket system.
"The result of the drill was excellent, we are confident that
this unit is in a state of full preparedness," a military spokesman said.
The u.s and britain have been accused of deliberately fanning the flames of
war by flooding the region with arms and making false claims about the
prospect of an imminent russian invasion.
The Morning Star has reported opposition party claims that ukraine was being
forced to take out loans and buy u.s weapons at massively inflated prices.
Last week ukrainian president vladimir zelinsky called on both nations to
tone down the rhetoric, accusing them of creating panic and destabilizing
the country's flagging economy. But his pleas seem to have been ignored as
both countries continue to issue threats to moscow which insists that it has
no plans for military intervention.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking on the matter for the first time
in nearly six weeks accused the west on tuesday of trying to lure the
country into war and ignoring legitimate security concerns.
For ukrainian special operations groups trained by britain have been
deployed to the Horlivka area, according to donetsk people's republic deputy
commander edward basarin.
For sabotage and reconnaissance groups, 12 to 14 strong each, arrived at
95th air assault brigade on the horlivka axis, he said.
These groups have completed urban warfare drills at 184th training center in
the Lviv region. They had british instructors from the orbital training
mission.
News of the troop movements comes days after the notorious black water group
now known as akademi was accused of training a far-right militia at a camp
in the sumi region of ukraine.
Ukrainian aggression has continued along the so-called contact line in
breach of the minsk agreement which led to a fragile ceasefire in the
donbass region, but Donetsk people's republic prime minister Denis Pushallan
said that Kiev had stepped up the use of drones in the border area dropping
explosive devices.
A separatist militiamen was killed during such an attack on tuesday, he
said, accusing ukraine of breaching tighter control measures agreed in july
2020 banning the flight of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Meanwhile, the armed forces of ukraine immediately deployed to attack
unmanned aerial vehicles to carry out missions in the Donbass. It is known
that one of the drones completed its mission and upon returning to its place
of deployment, a second drone took off to replace it.
Drones in all likelihood are used exclusively for monitoring the territory
of the self-proclaimed republics, since there have not yet been reports of
uaf strikes.
The beginning of the active use of the beractor TB2 attack drones by the
armed forces of ukraine may indicate that kiev is preparing for an attack on
the danbas.
Moreover this is also confirmed by the fact that today more than 100 troops
of the armed forces of ukraine are stationed in the immediate vicinity of
the line of contact.
At the moment sources report that drones operate mainly in the western part
of the DPR. This indicates the fact that the main breakthrough of the DPR
defense is planned in this direction provided that Kiev really moves to an
offensive operation.
However it should be noted that this is far from the first time that
baracter TB2 attack drones perform a joint flight over the Donbass. In
particular at the end of last year, it was already reported about the action
of two drones at once one of them took off from the airbase near michaelave,
while the other took off from the airbase in Kharkiv.
Ukraine has shown off its military power supplied by britain as tens of
thousands of russian troops are deployed near the border.
In new pictures ukrainian service members can be seen carrying out drills at
ukraine's international peacekeeping security center near Yavariv in the
Lviv region. The weapons displayed our next generation light anti-tank
weapons (NLAW) supply by britain.
Fears of an invasion from Russia grow with US President Joe Biden warning
the kremlin may attack as early mid-february.
However russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov told russian radio stations
there will be no war. he said if it depends on russia then there will be no
war. we don't want wars, but we also won't allow our interests to be rudely
trampled, to be ignored."
Meanwhile a wing of f-18 fighter bombers from the aircraft carrier harry S
truman of the u.s navy has practiced strikes against the donbass from the
waters of the adriatic sea. Data on this subject is provided by CNN.
This is the first time since the end of the cold war that a carrier strike
group which includes the aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman and five escort
ships, plus at least one or two submarines, whose presence is never publicly
acknowledged is under command nato.
The Harry S. Truman carrying 90 aircraft including a fleet of F/A-18s was
heading to the middle east in mid-december but the pentagon decided to keep
it in europe as tensions began to mount.
Rear Admiral Kurt Renshaw, commander of the eighth strike group of which
Harry S. Truman is a part told CNN, i think this sends a signal to the
allies that they can count on us.
Because truman is close to european shores its aircraft can reach most of
eastern europe in less than an hour and its presence in the region gives
nato members such as Bulgaria, Romania and Poland additional security
assurances, cnn reports.
Despite the fact that there is no evidence in the cnn report that actions
were being practiced in ukrainian airspace in the footage published by the
channel, you can see that a group of fighters headed straight for the border
with ukraine, after which they turned around and lay down on the reverse
course.
Experts believe that it is precisely because of the intention to intervene
in the war in Donbass that the aircraft carrier Harry S Truman and the
strike group are stationed in the waters of the mediterranean sea, making
transitions between the small seas of the region.
