A few hours ago, less than 15 kilometers from the ukrainian border residents
of the belgarot region noticed at least 10 2S7 pion self-propelled artillery
mounts. The latter is capable of delivering devastating 203 millimeter
strikes.
Ammunition however much more remarkable is the fact that such weapons are
capable of delivering strikes with nuclear weapons at a stunning range of
47.5 kilometers, which by the way is quite enough to destroy the entire
northern part of carca from the same area.
The deployment of such weapons on the border with ukraine is observed for
the first time, especially since russia has only 60 such self-propelled guns
in service, although about 250 more are in long-term storage.
The purpose of deploying these weapons in this direction is not officially
announced.
According to analysts this is due to the extremely high tension and high
likelihood of military clashes between Russia and Ukraine. Dozens of russian
tanks, self-propelled guns and light armored vehicles have been deployed 13
kilometers to the ukrainian border.
The provocative actions of Kyiv and the recent open attack of the armed
forces of ukraine and foreign mercenaries on donetsk forced russia to take
rather harsh measures.
As a result several dozen armored vehicles and self-propelled guns, as well
as numerous military personnel were stationed only 13 kilometers from the
border with Ukraine.
At the moment there are no official comments regarding the deployment of
military equipment in this direction, however this happened after the armed
forces of ukraine staged several provocations, including the use of foreign
mercenaries an attack drone, an attack on donetsk etc.
According to experts in all likelihood russia intends to demonstrate to
Kyiv its readiness for a full-scale response in the event of the
slightest attempt to attack russian territory or the self-proclaimed
republics.
Meanwhile a few hours ago american mercenaries who continue to terrorize the
inhabitants of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics,
managed to sneak into the suburbs of donetsk and raise the u.s flag.
The appearance of the american flag was noticed already after the group of
mercenaries disappeared. however this fact indicates that members of the
american PMC have already come close to Donetsk which by the way once again
confirms the earlier reports that foreign mercenaries and took part in the
recent attack on dinettes.
Unashamed of anyone the us military clearly marked the place of their
presence in the donbass right at the front line. There was a confirmation of
this, the star-striped banner flutters next to the flag of ukraine at the
positions of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the armed forces of
Ukraine.
The place of their deployment is the svitladarsk arc, about 80 kilometers
northeast of Donetsk, reports the telegram Channel Donbass Decides.
On the other hand, in the event of a full-scale offensive the
self-proclaimed republics of donbass have no chance to resist. The units of
the Luhansk and Donetsk people's republics have no real chances to withstand
the attack of the armed forces of ukraine.
According to GRU colonel of the russian general staff Vladimir Klotschkoff
the likelihood that the armies of the self-proclaimed republics will be able
to withstand more than two days is negligible.
According to the gru colonel, Kyiv is fully aware that the DPR and LPR have
no chances to withstand the almost five-fold superior army of the armed
forces of Ukraine. Not to mention the fact that today the ukrainian military
in the donbass has thousands of anti-tank systems including foreign ones,
attack drones and other weapons.
Ukraine is stopped only by the fact that Russia can intervene in the
situation and given the number of russian troops near the ukrainian border,
the superiority will remain with the republics of Donbass.
On saturday the New York Times and the Washington Post said officials were
warning that a full russian invasion could lead to the quick capture of Kyiv
and potentially result in as many as fifty thousand casualties.
A u s official confirmed that estimate to the associated press. But it's not
clear how u s agencies determine those numbers and any predictions about how
an invasion would proceed and the human cost it would inflict are inherently
uncertain given the vagaries of war.
President Joe Biden has said he will not send us troops to ukraine to fight
a war. he has however ordered additional forces including headquarters
personnel and combat troops to Poland and Romania to reassure those Nato
allies that washington would fulfill its treaty commitment to respond to
russian aggression against nato territory.
Ukraine is not a Nato member, but receives u.s and allied military support
and training.
Army officials on saturday announced that major general christopher donahue,
the commanding general of the 82nd airborne division, arrived in poland,
about other 1700 soldiers from the 82nd airborne are deploying to poland
from Fort Bragg, North Carolina and 300 soldiers are deploying from Brag to
Germany.
In addition 1000 Germany-based soldiers are shifting to Romania.
Russia has assembled at least 70 percent of the military firepower it likely
intends to have in place by mid-month to give president vladimir putin the
option of launching a full-scale invasion of ukraine, U.S officials say.
The officials who discussed internal assessments of the russian buildup on
condition they not be identified, sketched out a series of indicators
suggesting putin intends an invasion in coming weeks, although the size and
scale are unclear.
They stressed that a diplomatic solution appears to remain possible.
