China has openly shown an attitude of wanting to control the North Natuna Sea. Not only deploying their fishing boats to take part in catching fish in the North Natuna Sea, Chinese coast guard ships also frequently pass by in these Indonesian waters.
Now it is also revealed that China has a naval military base only 700 kilometers from Natuna Island. This Chinese military base was built on the coral islands of Fiery Cross Reef not too far from Indonesia.
The North Natuna Sea area has been targeted by China for a long time and even the bamboo curtain country claims that the sea belongs to them.
Now the presence of a military base close to North Natuna certainly worries the surrounding countries. Moreover, at the military base, China operates a bomb-carrying aircraft or Xian H-6 bomber.
This Xian H-6 bomber can easily drop bombs into Indonesian areas because it has Dongfeng 21D ballistic missiles and CJ-100 supersonic missiles with a firing radius of 1,500 km. The Chinese Xian H-6 bomber aircraft also has qualified specifications and can scare opponents to death.
The following are the specifications of the Chinese Xian H-6 bomber which is based near the North Natuna Sea:
1. Can carry weapons up to 9 tons
The Xian H-6 bomber is capable of carrying weapons of up to 9 tons.
This aircraft belongs to the middle class with a cruising range of up to 6,000 kilometers and a speed of 768 kilometers per hour.
2. Using the Xian WP8 Turbo Turbojet engine
The Xian H-6 bomber was built with the same two Xian WP8 Turbojet engines as the Russian Tupolev Tu-16.
However, with technological improvements, the Xian H-6 is actually less effective at carrying nuclear bombs.
3. Equipped with weapons for self-defense
Xian H-6 bombers have weapons to defend themselves from enemy attacks. The aircraft is equipped with 6-7 cannons with a caliber of 35 mm. Armaments on the Xian H-6 will be able to launch bullets at enemies that are approaching to attack these bombers.
Indonesia should be wary of China's unilateral claims accompanied by military threats around the North Natuna Sea. However, so far the Natuna security guards are still respected and are not afraid to face foreign threats.
